Homemaking Services in Boston, MA
Keeping the house manageable so you can focus on what matters.
The dishes pile up. The laundry sits in the basket. The floors haven’t been vacuumed in longer than you want to admit. When everyday tasks get harder to manage, the house starts to feel overwhelming—and that affects everything else.
Our homemaking services aren’t deep cleaning crews or maid services. We’re here to help keep things running—the weekly vacuuming, the clean sheets, the meals that actually have vegetables in them. The practical stuff that lets you live comfortably in your own home.
What We Help With
Light Cleaning
Vacuuming, dusting, wiping down surfaces, cleaning bathrooms. We keep things tidy between visits—not spotless, but safe and comfortable to live in.
Laundry
Washing, drying, folding, putting away. Fresh sheets on the bed. Clean towels in the bathroom. The basics that make a big difference.
Meal Preparation
Simple, nutritious meals based on what you like and what your doctor says you should eat. We can prep meals for the week or cook fresh each visit.
Grocery Shopping
Making a list, going to the store, putting everything away. If you can’t drive anymore, this one task alone can be a game-changer.
Dishes and Kitchen Cleanup
Keeping the kitchen usable. Loading the dishwasher, handwashing pots, wiping counters. A clean kitchen means you’re more likely to actually use it.
Organizing and Tidying
Clutter builds up. We help keep walkways clear (important for preventing falls), find places for things, and keep the home feeling manageable.

What a Typical Visit Looks Like
Let’s say someone comes twice a week, three hours each time. Here’s how that might go:
-
→
Start a load of laundry -
→
Vacuum the main living areas -
→
Prep lunch and maybe a couple dinners for the fridge -
→
Clean the bathroom -
→
Fold and put away clothes -
→
Quick trip to the grocery store if needed
Every visit is based on what actually needs to happen that day. We’re flexible.
This Isn’t a Cleaning Service
We’re not here to do a deep spring clean or wash windows. Homemaking is about maintenance—keeping the house livable week to week. If you need a one-time deep clean, you’d hire a cleaning company first, then we’d help you maintain it. We also often combine homemaking with companion care or personal care in the same visit.
